Callum Murphy

Made by Murphy is the creative partnership of self-taught woodturning duo Callum and Natalie Murphy. Callum’s journey with the craft began at age 13, debuting his work in art galleries by 15.

Today, the husband-and-wife pair specialises in large-scale sculptural woodwork, drawing deeply from the rare, ancient character of native Tasmanian timber.

Working primarily with prized Huon Pine, the duo is celebrated for dramatic natural-edge bowls and statement lamps that blend rustic edge work with refined traditional turnings.

Their furniture pieces highlight centuries-old root systems, hand-carved and integrated with wood-turned elements to transform raw, weathered history into functional art.
